How to troubleshoot starting issues with my Remington Pole Saw?
- JJordan EdwardsAug 19, 2025
If your Remington Pole Saw engine won't start, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure the fuel tank isn't empty; if it is, refill it with properly mixed fuel. Also, make sure you've pressed the primer bulb sufficiently—about 10 times or until fuel is visible. If the engine is flooded, move the choke lever to Position 3, press the throttle lockout, squeeze the throttle control, and pull the starter rope until the engine starts. Old or improperly mixed fuel can also prevent starting, so drain the tank and add fresh fuel. Lastly, a fouled spark plug can be the culprit, so consider replacing it.
