Do not operate under influence of alcohol, in rain, damp areas, or with flammable liquids/gases.
Do not use near power lines. Keep at least 10 feet away from electrical lines.
Use extreme caution when cutting tensioned wood; be alert for springing back.
Kickback can occur when tip touches object or wood pinches chain, causing reverse reaction and loss of control.
Use both hands, keep safety items in place, avoid overreaching, maintain footing, cut one branch at a time.
Avoid kickback, which can result in severe injury or death. Refer to Kickback section.
