„Press“ pressure-regulating valve, switch off the pump, and detach the high-
pressure hose at the (10) connecting piece as well.
3.2. Pumping fl uids
WARNING
Do not pump any combustible fl uids, acid solutions, or dissolvents!
Note
permitted ratings pH, viscosity and temperature of fl uids (see 1.2).
Lay the (2) suction hose with the (4) suction fi lter into the container with the
fl uid which must be pumped. Lay the (5) high-pressure hose into the container,
or to the facility which has to be fi lled. Close the (8) „Press“ pressure-regulating
valve, and open the (7) „Test“ stop valve. Switch in the pump (1), and pump
the fl uid.
3.3. Finalizing the operation of the unit
After finalizing the operation of the unit, open both the (8) „Press“
pressure-regulating valve and the (7) „Test“ stop valve. Subsequently, rinse the
pump with clean water for a few minutes.
4. Servicing
4.1. Inspecting the unit
WARNING
Before inspecting the unit, draw out the mains plug!
Before every using of
the machine, examine the high-pressure-hose for damages. Keep clean the
(4) suction fi lter!
4.2. Maintaining the unit
WARNING
Before maintaining the unit, draw out the mains plug!
Change the oil after
every 150 operating hours. For this, lay the pressure-testing pump on its side
area, detach the (11) screws at both the housing shells. Then, open and detach
the housing shells. Open the (12) plastic-material plug fi ttings at the bottom
side of the pump. Drain-off the oil. Now, fi ll in approx. 0.15 l of new SAE-30 oil.
When the pump is leaking oil, the complete pressure-testing pump must be
sent for inspection and/or repair to a service station authorized by REMS.
4.3. Repairing the unit
WARNING
Before repairing the unit, draw out the mains plug!
This work may only be
performed by qualifi ed personnel.
5. Instructions for eliminating malfunctions
5.1. Malfunction:
The pressure-testing pump is running. However, it is
not creating any pressure.
Cause:
●
The „Press“ stop valve has not been closed yet.
●
The pressure-testing pump has been sucking air.
●
The fi lter at the suction hose has been plugged.
●
The pressure-testing pump has become defective.
5.2. Malfunction:
The pressure at the manometer is varying irregularly.
Cause:
●
There is air in the system.
5.3. Malfunction:
The motor does not start working. It is humming.
Cause:
●
The pump has been locked.
●
There is an inappropriate voltage supply (is there an appropriate
extension cable?).
5.4. Malfunction:
When operating, the motor suddenly dies.
Cause:
●
The motor protective switch has disconnected it.
●
The pump has got hot, or is blocking.
6. Disposal
The units may not be thrown into the domestic waste at the end of use. They
must be disposed of properly by law.
7. Manufacturer’s Warranty
The warranty period shall be 12 months from delivery of the new product to the
fi rst user. The date of delivery shall be documented by the submission of the
original purchase documents, which must include the date of purchase and the
designation of the product. All functional defects occurring within the warranty
period, which are clearly the consequence of defects in production or materials,
will be remedied free of charge. The remedy of defects shall not extend or
renew the warranty period for the product. Damage attributable to natural wear
and tear, incorrect treatment or misuse, failure to observe the operational
instructions, unsuitable operating materials, excessive demand, use for unau-
thorized purposes, interventions by the customer or a third party or other
reasons, for which REMS is not responsible, shall be excluded from the warranty
Services under the warranty may only be provided by customer service stations
authorized for this purpose by REMS. Complaints will only be accepted if the
product is returned to a customer service station authorized by REMS without
prior interference in an unassembled condition. Replaced products and parts
shall become the property of REMS.
The user shall be responsible for the cost of shipping and returning the product.
The legal rights of the user, in particular the right to make claims against the
seller under the warranty terms, shall not be affected. This manufacturer’s
warranty only applies for new products which are purchased in the European
Union, in Norway or in Switzerland.
This warranty is subject to German law with the exclusion of the United Nations
Convention on Contracts for the International Sales of Goods (CISG).

AVERTISSEMENT

Conserver toutes les consignes de sécurité et instructions pour usage ultérieur.
A) Poste de travail
a) Maintenir le poste de travail propre et rangé.
Le désordre et un poste de travail
non éclairé peut être source d’accident.
b) Ne pas travailler avec l’appareil électrique dans un milieu où il existe un
risque d’explosion, notamment en présence de liquides, de gaz ou de
poussières infl ammables.
Les appareils électriques produisent des étincelles,
qui peuvent mettre le feu à la poussière ou aux vapeurs.
c) Tenir les enfants et des tierces personnes à l’écart pendant l’utilisation de
l’appareil électrique.
Il y a un risque de perte de contrôle de la machine en cas
de distraction.
B) Sécurité électrique
a) La fi che mâle de l’appareil électrique doit être appropriée à la prise de
courant. La fi che mâle ne doit en aucun cas être modifée. Ne pas utiliser
d’adaptateur de fi che mâle avec un appareil électrique avec mise à la terre.
Des fi ches mâles non modifi ées et des prises de courant appropriées réduisent
le risque d’une décharge électrique. Si l’appareil est doté d’un conducteur de
protection, ne brancher la fi che mâle que sur une prise de courant avec mise à
la terre. Sur chantier, en plein air ou sur un autre mode d’installation, n’utiliser
l’appareil électrique qu’avec un dispositif de protection à courant de défaut de
30 mA (déclencheur par courant de défaut) sur réseau.
b) Eviter le contact avec des surfaces avec mise à la terre, comme les tubes,
radiateurs, cuisinières et réfrigérateurs.
Il y a un risque élevé de décharge
électrique lorsque le corps est en contact avec la terre.
c) Tenir l’appareil électrique à l’écart de la pluie ou de milieux humides.
La
pénétration d’eau dans un appareil électrique augmente le risque de décharge
électrique.
d) Ne pas utiliser le câble pour des fi ns auxquelles il n’a pas été prévu, notam-
ment pour porter l’appareil, l’accrocher ou pour débrancher l’appareil en
tirant sur la fi che mâle. Tenir le câble éloigné de la chaleur, de l’huile, des
angles vifs et des pièces de l’appareil en mouvement.
Des câbles endom-
magés ou emmêlés augmentent le risque de décharge électrique.
