f. Opening the bonnet
The bonnet is opened in the same way as a conventional combustion engine vehicle.

g. Disconnecting the 12V battery
The 12V battery is disconnected in the same way as on a conventional combustion engine vehicle.
Locating the 12V battery:

Before disconnecting the 12V battery, and if the situation permits:
! Wait for the fan unit to stop
! Wait for the computer saving process to finish (one minute)
Procedure (refer to the Repair Manual for more details):
! Wear electrical safety gloves and a face shield .
! Make sure the ignition is off.
! Disconnect the negative (-) and positive (+) terminals on the 12V battery.
