Charge the Rescue Portable Power Pack before use. It is best to
charge the Portable Power Pack until the full charge light on the
control panel turns on.
Please read all instructions before use.
To ensure maximum battery life, charge at least every 30 days, and
after each use. Extreme fluctuations of either hot or cold outside
temperatures may require re-charging more often.
REVERSE POLARITY PROTECTION
All models have an automated ON/OFF switch built into the unit. The
unit will not turn on when red polarity light is lit on the front panel.
If the red polarity light is lit you need to reverse the clamps and then
the GREEN light should be lit. It is now OK to jump the vehicle.
VOLTAGE PROTECTION
If the red voltage light is lit, you are trying to start a vehicle in the
incorrect voltage setting (12V/24V) Model 2000. Turn the switch to
the other voltage and a green light should come on and it is ok to
start vehicle. If you are using Model 2600 and the red light is on you
cannot start this vehicle with this unit.
