ACCO Australia warrants its products and their parts against defects in materials and workmanship under normal
use for a period of  months from the original date of purchase please retain proof of purchase During this
period we will repair or replace a defective product or part subject to the following warranty conditions
The warranty applies only to defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and does not extend to
damage to the Product or parts which result from
 Alteration repair modication or service carried out by anyone other than an authorised ACCO service centre
 Accident neglect abuse or misuse owing to failure to comply with the normal operating procedures for a
product of this type
Nothing in this warranty shall have the eect of excluding the liability of ACCO in respect of death and personal
injury caused by the negligence of ACCO This Warranty is oered subject to these terms and conditions in
addition to and does not aect your rights and remedies under the Australian Consumer Law and other laws
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law You are entitled
to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or
damage You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality
and the failure does not amount to a major failure

Additional Guarantee
ACCO Australia guarantees the cutting blades of the shredder to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for an extended warranty period from the date of purchase by the original consumer Please refer to
the table below for the cutter warranty period applicable to your shredder model

Please note that the cutter blades will be progressively worn down by shredding fastened sheets staples and
paperclips this is not covered by this warranty Excessive credit card and CD shredding will also invalidate the
extended cutter warranty Some shredder models are NOT designed to shred CDs Any attempt to do so will
invalidate the warranty
