What to do if the Reznor Blower venter motor will not start?
    • E
      Emily RangelAug 5, 2025
If the venter motor on your Reznor Blower isn't starting, here are a few things you can check: * First, make sure the power to the furnace is on and check the supply fuses or circuit breaker. * Next, verify that there is 24-volt power to the venter relay. Turn up the thermostat and check the control transformer output. Also, check for any loose or improper wire connections. * If power is available and the connections are good, the venter relay, motor, or capacitor might be defective and need replacement.

Why is my Reznor Blower motor turning on and off?
    • S
      sarah04Aug 9, 2025
If your Reznor Blower motor is turning on and off, it could be due to the motor overload device cycling. Verify the motor load against the motor rating plate. If necessary, replace the motor or overload device. Also, if you have a 3-phase motor, ensure it is rotating in the correct direction by interchanging two legs of the supply connections.

What to do if Reznor Blower pilot lights, but the main valve won't open?
    • E
      Eric TurnerAug 13, 2025
If the pilot light is on but the main valve of your Reznor Blower won't open, try the following: * Ensure the manual valve is open. * Check for defective valve. If 24-volt power is measured at the valve connections and valve remains closed, replace the valve. * Inspect and tighten all wiring connections. * Make sure the flame sensor lead is not grounded and that the insulation or ceramic is not cracked; replace as required. * If all checks indicate no other cause, replace the ignition controller.

Why does the Reznor SCE 300 motor cut out on overload?
    • M
      Maria PetersonAug 17, 2025
If the motor on your Reznor Blower cuts out on overload, it could be due to a few reasons: * The motor pulley may not be properly adjusted. * There might be improper static pressure on the duct system, so adjust the dampers. * Also, check the power supply for low voltage.

Why is my Reznor SCE 300 Blower not producing enough heat?
    • L
      Lori DillonAug 26, 2025
If your Reznor Blower isn't providing sufficient heat, consider the following: * Dirty filters in the blower system can restrict airflow, so clean or replace them. * Limit control cycling can also affect heating performance, so check the air throughput. * Ensure that wiring connections are in accordance with the wiring diagram. * The fan control could be defective and require replacement. * If the blower is set for too low a temperature rise, decrease the blower speed or increase static pressure.

What to do if the Reznor Blower motor will not run?
    • M
      Mason KnightAug 30, 2025
If the motor in your Reznor Blower isn't running, check the following: * Inspect the wiring and connections for any open circuits. * Replace the fan control if it's inoperative. * Ensure that wiring connections are in accordance with the wiring diagram. * Replace the contactor if it is inoperative. * If none of the above steps work, the motor may be defective and require replacement.

Why won't the pilot light on my Reznor Blower even with the venter operating?
    • K
      Kaitlin GilmoreNov 21, 2025
If the pilot light on your Reznor Blower won't light even when the venter is operating, consider these potential causes: * Ensure the manual valve is open. * Bleed the gas line to remove any air. * Clean the pilot orifice with compressed air or solvent to remove any dirt. * Check for kinked pilot tubing and replace if necessary. * If 24-volt power is available at the pilot valve and it doesn't open, replace the valve. * Make sure all wire connections are solid. * Ensure that 24-volt power is available by checking for transformer failure. * Maintain the spark gap at 0.100 inch. * Replace the spark cable if it's shorted to ground. * Replace the pilot if the ceramic spark electrode is cracked or grounded. * Ensure all panels are in place and tightly secured to prevent d...
