WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS

• Do not try to light any appliance.

• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.

• Leave the building immediately.

• Immediately call your gas supplier from a phone remote from the building. Follow the

gas suppliers instructions.

• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the ﬁre department.

Installation and service must be performed by a qualiﬁed installer, service agency, or

the gas supplier.

  If the venter motor on your Reznor Blower isn't starting, here are a few things you can check: * First, make sure the power to the furnace is on and check the supply fuses or circuit breaker. * Next, verify that there is 24-volt power to the venter relay. Turn up the thermostat and check the control transformer output. Also, check for any loose or improper wire connections. * If power is available and the connections are good, the venter relay, motor, or capacitor might be defective and need replacement.

Why is my Reznor SCE 200 motor turning on and off?

  If your Reznor Blower motor is turning on and off, it could be due to the motor overload device cycling. Verify the motor load against the motor rating plate. If necessary, replace the motor or overload device. Also, if you have a 3-phase motor, ensure it is rotating in the correct direction by interchanging two legs of the supply connections.

  If the pilot light is on but the main valve of your Reznor Blower won't open, try the following: * Ensure the manual valve is open. * Check for defective valve. If 24-volt power is measured at the valve connections and valve remains closed, replace the valve. * Inspect and tighten all wiring connections. * Make sure the flame sensor lead is not grounded and that the insulation or ceramic is not cracked; replace as required. * If all checks indicate no other cause, replace the ignition controller.
