the rubber end cap is positioned rmly and
fully within the moulded housing. Ingress
protection will be compromised by a poorly
tted cover.

Battery performance depends on a number of
factors, including (but not limited to) ambient
temperature, condition & age of battery,
charging habits etc.
Maintenance
• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface
Do not use solvents as this may cause
irrepairable damage
• Regular use is highly recommended to keep the
internal lithium-ion battery in prime condition.
Run a full discharge cycle at least once every
four months to avoid shortening the lifespan of
the internal battery.
• Ensure that the Vault Lite IR180 is completely
dry before attempting to charge the device.
While the Vault Lite IR180 can be used as a
light source down to -20C/-4f, avoid recharging
in temperatures below 5C/41f: doing so may
cause irrepairable damage to the lithium-ion
battery. During periods of extended cold
weather, it is highly recommended to fully
charge the Vault Lite IR180 at room temperature
before departure.
Storage
Before storing, ensure that the Vault Lite IR180
is completely dry. Store in a cool, dry place
and ensure that the battery is topped up to
approximately half of its capacity. Long term
storage of discharged lithium batteries can cause
irrepairable damage to the cells which is not
covered under guarantee.
