monochromator
This optical device produces a monochromatized X-ray beam using a 2-bounce
channel cut crystal. Fine alignments
of
the channel cut crystal are performed via
SmartLab Studio
II.
A dedicated parallel slit can be installed next to the channel
cut crystal (the side closer to the sample).
Ge(220) 2-bounce monochromator ( optional:

Attach
the Ge(220) 2-bounce monochromator to the CBO unit by
sliding
it
down from the
top
section
of
the CBO unit. Secure
it
in place
with the Allen wrench provided.
