5.5.2 Loaded Voltage Test
1. Ensure all vehicle accessories are turned OFF
2. Switch headlights to high beam
3. Hold engine revs between 1,500-2,500 then press
4. Maintain engine revs unl countdown mer reaches zero.
5. When mer reaches zero the results will automacally be displayed
6. Aer 3 seconds the display will automacally move to the next test:
5.5.3 Diode Ripple Test
1. Press
to start test
2. Ensure all vehicle accessories are turned OFF
3. Switch headlights to high beam
4. Leave engine idling (should be between 700 - 1,000 RPM) then press
5. Wait unl countdown mer reaches zero
6. When mer reaches zero the results will automacally be displayed
Turn air condioning OFF
Turn air condioning OFF
Hold accelerator for 10 seconds
Rev engine up to about
2,000 RPM and hold for
10 seconds
Rev engine to
2,500 - 3,000 RPM
Engine idling speed
Switch headlights to
high beam
Switch headlights to
high beam
Timer countdown
from 10s to 0s
