4. SETUP
5. OPERATION
4.1 Install baeries
1. Slide open cover on rear of tester and install 3 x AA Alkaline Baeries (not included)
2. Replace cover and press and hold power buon
for 2 secs to turn on
4.2 Zero calibraon
This procedure is only required when the test probes have been changed or if there is an issue with accuracy of the results.
1. Ensure tester is switched OFF
2. Turn Selector Dial to Resistance Mode (Ω posion)
3. Switch ON the tester and press key once to enter calibraon mode
4. Press
buon to enter ZERO calibraon mode and countdown mer will start
5. Short the probes together and press
buon to complete calibraon
Note:
During zero calibraon, do not touch the probes with your hand or it may cause an error. If an error is displayed, repeat the zero calibraon procedure again.
5.1 Direct Current Measurement
In this mode current measurements can be taken directly at the fusebox without removing any fuses or wires.
1. Turn Selector Dial to Current Mode (A posion)
2. Select DIRECT then press
buon to connue
3. Select type of fuse to be tested using
keys then press buon
4. Select rang of fuse using
keys then press buon
First switch on the tester by pressing and holding the power buon
for 2 seconds
