9.Separate the Water Flow Servo Valve from the By-Pass
Valve by removing 2 screws. (FIGURE 4)
10.Attach the new Water Flow Servo Valve to the By-pass
Valve using the 2 screws. (FIGURE 4)
11.Reinstall the Water Flow Servo Valve assembly.
12.Reconnect the following harnesses: By-Pass Valve (WT/
PK/BL/RD), Water Flow Sensor (RD/BK/YL), and Water
Flow Control Valve (GY/BR/OR/WT/PK/BL/RD).
13.Attach the By-Pass Valve retainer clips using 2 screws
(1 screw per clip) as well as the 1 screw to hold in the
ceramic anti-frost heater to the valve assembly
(FIGURE 2)
14.Reinstall the inlet fixture using 2 screws as well as the 1
screw to the right of inlet fixture. (FIGURE 1)
15.For indoor models, reinstall the controller bracket and
controller. Replace the front panel. Reinstall 4 screws
securing the front panel.
16.Turn on the gas supply.
17.Turn on water supply.
18.Reconnect the electrical power.
19.Open a hot water tap and ensure there are no leaks at
the water heater.
