alternatively, disconnect the entire unit from the line provided by the customer); moreover, check that any possible residual
energy has been de-charged before performing the interventions.
As much as possible, operate on the PARTLY COMPLETED MACHINERY and on the piping only after having emptied them and, before
proceeding to restart it, make sure the system is thoroughly cleaned.
Obtain the necessary work permits and check that all the procedures to arrange the PARTLY COMPLETED MACHINERY for maintenance
operations have been performed correctly.
Do not for any reason whatsoever use gasoline, solvents, or flammable fluids to clean the details, but use standardly marketed
and approved detergents that are not flammable and toxic.
Do not perform modifications, transformations, or applications on the PARTLY COMPLETED MACHINERY which could jeopardize safety,
without first having obtained written authorization by the Manufacturer.
3.4 Signs concerning Safety
Signaling labels are affixed on the PARTLY COMPLETED MACHINERY that are indicated in Chart 2.

A
Indicates that it is forbidden to remove the safety devices and protections
installed; it is usually accompanied by the explanatory wording: DO NOT REMOVE
THE PROTECTIVE DEVICES

Indicates that it is forbidden to perform any type of intervention (including
lubrication and cleaning) near moving parts; usually, it is accompanied by the
explanatory wording:
DO NOT REPAIR OR ADJUST WHILE THE MACHINE IS RUNNING.

Warns about the danger due to the presence of mobile parts near the machine
area where it is positioned.
D
Warns about the danger due to the presence of hot surfaces near the machine
area where it is positioned.
E
Warns about the danger due to the presence of elements under voltage near the
machine area where it is positioned.
F
Signals that it is mandatory to read the manual / assembly instructions
