Instrument Cluster
A 6-inch colour display which shows various ride information
and vehicle status.
Inverter
Transforms direct current into alternating current to supply
power to the motor, and transforms alternating current to direct
current to recharge the batteries.
Motor
Uses electrical energy stored in the battery to propel the vehicle.
Low Voltage DC-DC convertor
Converts energy stored in the battery to low voltage (12V)
to power the lamps, instrument cluster and other
connected peripherals.
Vehicle Control Unit
Controls all peripherals, vehicle modes and power states of
the vehicle.
Lithium-ion Battery
Stores and supplies power necessary for the vehicle to operate.
Charger Port
Receptacle on the side of the vehicle where charging systems
are to be connected to recharge the battery.
Drivetrain
System consisting of pulleys and belts which transfers power
from the motor to the rear wheel.
Brake system
The Indie is equipped with a Combined Braking System (CBS),
which upon using the right brake lever engages the front brakes,
and upon using the left brake lever engages both the front and
rear brakes.
Brake Pressure Sensors
Pressure sensors mounted on the brake lines which senses
brake demand requested by the rider.
