The device described in the manual is the Rivers Edge® LOCKDOWN 2-MAN Ladder Stand, Model LD203, a treestand designed for hunting.
Function Description:
The LOCKDOWN 2-MAN Ladder Stand is an elevated hunting platform that allows two users to sit or stand at a height above the ground, providing a better vantage point for hunting. It is a ladder-style treestand, meaning it consists of multiple ladder sections that are assembled to reach the desired height, with a platform and seat at the top. The stand is secured to a tree using a system of straps, ratchets, and a stabilizer bar. A key feature is its "Ultimate Shooting Rail," which offers adjustable height and depth, and can be flipped down and tucked away into the platform for bow hunting. The stand is designed for stability and safety, emphasizing the mandatory use of a full body harness (FAS) and adherence to strict assembly, setup, and maintenance instructions.
