Mostmotor homes haveanonboardgenerator.It’s used to provide120VACpowerifyoudo
nothavecampgroundpower.Itislocatedinanoutsidecompartment.
Thegeneratorrunsongasolinefromthevehiclefueltank.Thefueltankmustbeatleast¼full
inorderforthegenerator tooperate.Themotoroillevel
ofthegeneratorhastobeinspected
everyeight(8)hours
ofoperationtopreventanydamage!
Before starting the generator ensure
that all electrical appliances
(especially the roof A/C) are turned
off.Attempting to startthegenerator
when the roof A/C is “ON” may
overloadthegeneratorandcausethecircuitbreaker
atthegeneratororinthepowercentertotrip.
Touse120VACpowerfromthegenerator,makesure
the power cord is plugged into its outlet, located in
the electrical compartment on the outside of the
vehicle,beforestartingthegenerator.
The generatorcan be startedfrom the inside of the
motor home or with the switch at the generator
itself.Letitrun1to2minutesbeforeturningonanyelectricalappliances.
Ifthegeneratorisrunning,thepowercordpluggedinandthemaincircuitbreakerinthepower
centerisON,butthereisnopowercheckthecircuitbreakeronthegeneratoritself.
Resetthebreakeriftripped.
ON=breakerpointingtowardstheoutsideofthevehicleortotheleftoncertainmodels.
NEVER run the generator for more than a few moments with the service door removed!
