- Install the servos 6.1 and 6.2 using the screws and grom-
mets supplied with them.
- Cut the three pushrods 6.3 - 6.5 to approximate length. File
one end of each rod to a slight point as this makes it easier
to fit the bellows 6.8 onto them when lubricated with a little
water (F).
- Fit pieces of silicone hose 6.6 on the pushrods 6.4 and 6.5,
bend them to the shape shown in the full-size drawings and
cut them to final length (F).
- Push the hose clips 6.7 onto the shoulders of the rear cover.
- Insert the pushrods and fit the rubber bellows 6.8 onto them
to a depth of about 10 mm.
- Fit the hose clips using the extension tubes VR. Rotate the
clips so that the ends are at the top.
- Cut the servo output arms 6.9 to length and drill them out as
shown. Connect the hydroplane pushrod 6.3 directly to the
servo output arm and fit the arm on the servo.
- Make up the connecting rod 6.10. Connect the pushrod 6.10
27
to the pushrod 6.4 using the servo output arm 6.9 and col-
let 6.11 fitted with the grubscrew 6.12.
- Drill a lengthwise hole in the switch lever 6.13 and tem-
porarily fit the switch on the pushrod using the two collets
6.14 / 6.15. Position the pushrod laterally as shown and
glue the switch housing to the servo plate with a little
Stabilit-Express.
- The following process should again be carried out on a flat
table top.
- Insert the base frame and engage the couplings.
- Fit the rear hull section. Insert the shafts and the shaft tem-
plate W and connect them to the couplings (F).
- Push the parts together and check alignment once more
using the string.
- Complete the glued joints between the rear hull section
and the cover by applying Stabilit-Express from inside the
rear hull section.
