These
jacks
are
for
connecting
the
cords
of
the
stand’s
pedals.
These
will
function
just
like
a
damper
pedal
or
a
soft
pedal
of
a
usual
piano.

Knob
This
is
used
to
tune
the
HP-5500/5600
to
other
musical
instrument.
At
its
center
position,
A
=
442Hz.

The
HP-5500/5600
itself
never
gets
out
of
tune,
therefore
tuning
is
not
necessary.

External
Input
Jacks
To
this
jack,
you
can
connect
a
Rhythm
Machine
such
as
the
CR-8000,
TR-707
or
Bass
Line
TB-303,
etc.

Select
H,
M
or
L
position
depending
on
the
input
level.
(Set
this
switch
to
L
if
the
input
level
is
low,
and
H
if
high.)
Output
Jacks
®
AC
Socket
*
Make
sure
that
the
HP-5500/5600
is
turned
off,
then
connect
the
power
cable
to
this
AC
socket.
The
buttons
@
and
@
are
exclusively
used
to
control
external
MIDI
instrurnents.

The
selector
switch
@
should
usually
be
set
to
the
“-”
position.
Just
when
the
PR-
800
(Recorder
Plus)
and
the
PB-300
(Rhythm
Plus),
set
it
to
“:”.
