TAP TEMPO
The tempo of a Style can also be set by
using the TAP TEMPO feature just li-
ke the tapping of a Conductor’s baton
in an Orchestra.
While the Style is stopped
(START/STOP Led off), press the TAP
TEMPO button [13b] in the tempo you
wish the Style to play. The Tempo num-
ber in the display will automatically
change to the tempo set and the Style
can now be started in any of the above
three ways.
* The Tap Tempo procedure will only
operate when the Style is stopped.
STOPPING THE STYLE
The style can be stopped in two ways:
1. Press the START/STOP button [16]
and the style will stop immediately.
2. Press the INTRO/ENDING button
[15]. At the next downbeat the style
will perform a musical “ending”, the
length of which depends on the style
selected.
You can change from one style to
another WITHOUT stopping the style
by simply pressing the appropriate
BANK and NUMBER buttons in the
MUSIC STYLE section.
With this operation, the new style will
not play at its preset tempo, but will fol-
low the tempo set by the previous style.
While stopped or while playing, the
volumes of each section of the style can
be modified by using the appropriate
‘““‘pm” and ‘a’’ buttons in the
BALANCE section.

Sie das Tempo fiir einen Rhythmus auf
ahnliche Weise vorgeben, wie es ein Di-
rigent fir sein Orchester durch das
Schlagen mit seinem Taktstock macht.
Um das Tempo durch TAP-TEMPO zu
bestimmen, driicken Sie, bei gestopp-
tem Rhythmus (START/STOP-Led
aus), die TAP TEMPO-Taste [13b] in
der Geschwindigkeit, in der ein Schlag
des Rhythmus gespielt werden soll. In
der Anzeige finden Sie nun das von Ih-
nen eingetippte Tempo, und Sie kénnen
den Rhythmus in einer der drei oben
beschriebenen Weisen starten.
* Sie kénnen die TAP TEMPO- Funk-
tion nur bei gestopptem Rhythmus
benutzen.
STOPPEN DES RHYTHMUS
Zum Stoppen des Rhythmus’ gibt es
zwei Moglichkeiten:
1. Um den Rhythmus direkt zu stop-
pen, driicken Sie die START/STOP-
Taste [16].
2. Um den Rhythmus, beginnend mit
dem ersten T: des nachsten
Taktes, mit einem musikalischen
“Schlugtakt”” enden zu lassen,
driicken Sie die INTRO/ENDING-
Taste [15]. Die Lange des “‘Schluf-
taktes’’ hangt vom gewdhlten
Rhythmus ab.
Sie k6nnen von einem Rhythmus zum
nachsten wechseln, OHNE den Rhyth-
mus stoppen zu missen, indem Sie ein-
fach die entsprechenden BANK- und
NUMBER-Tasten im MUSIC STYLE-
Bedienfeld driicken.
Hierbei wird der jeweils neu abgerufe-
ne Rhythmus nicht in dem fir den
Rhythmus voreingestellten Tempo ge-
spielt, sondern im Tempo des alten
Rhythmus.
Die Lautstarke der einzelnen
Rhythmus-Parts kann mit den entspre-
chenden Tasten des BALANCE-
Bedienfelds (‘‘>” und “‘<’’) verandert
werden.
TAP TEMPO
Le tempo d’un style peut aussi étre ré-
glé en utilisant la fonction TAP TEM-
PO comme le ferait un chef d’orchestre
-avec sa baguette en début de morceau.
Quand le style est arrété (diode
START/STOP éteinte) enfoncez la tou-
che TAP TEMPO [13b] au tempo dési-
ré. La valeur de tempo indiquée par
l’afficheur change pour la nouvelle et
le style peut maintenant étre déclenché
selon une des trois méthodes ci-dessus.
* La procédure de tap tempo ne peut
s’opérer que si le style est arrété.
ARRET DU RYTHME
Le rythme peut s’arréter de deux
facons:
1. Pressez le bouton START/STOP
[16] et le rythme s’arrétera immé-
diatement.
2. Pressez INTRO/ENDING [15]. Au
début de la mesure qui suivra le
rythme jouera une “‘finale’’ musica-
le, dont la longueur dépend du ryth-
me sélectionné.
Vous pouvez passer d’un rythme a un
autre SANS arréter le rythme, et en
pressant tout simplement les boutons
K et NUMBER appropriés dans la
section MUSIC STYLE.
Avec cette opération, le nouveau ryth-
me ne se jouera pas avec le tempo pré-
sélectionné du rythme, mais il suivra le
tempo établi par le rythme précédent.
Que vous soyez en train de jouer ou que
vous ne jouiez pas, les volumes de cha-
que section du rythme peuvent étre mo-
difiés grace aux boutons “>” et “a”
dans la section BALANCE.
