MIDI CONTROL
M.1.D.I. is the acronym for Musical In-
strument Digital Interface.
MIDI is a standardized interface by
which all digital musical instruments
also equipped with MIDI connections
can exchange data. This means that the
E-35 can be used as a MIDI control key-
board - to control other MIDI devices
(keyboard, sequencer, etc,) or as a
MIDI sound source (to be controlled by
other MIDI devices).

steuern, oder als MIDI-Klangquelle (die
dann von anderen MIDI-Einheiten ge-
steuert wird), dienen kann.

M.I.D.I. est le sigle de Musical Instru-
ment Digital Interface (interface musi-
cale pour instruments de musique).
MIDI est une interface standardisée
grace 4 laquelle tous les instruments de
musique numériques dotés de conne-
xions MIDI peuvent échanger des don-
nées. Ceci signifie que votre E-35 peut
étre utilisé comme un clavier de contré-
le pour contréler d’autres appareils MI-
DI (clavier, séquencer, etc.) ou comme
source de sons contrélable par d’autres
appareils MIDI.
CONNEXIONS MIDI
Connect to the MIDI OUT or MIDI THRU of another device
This connector transmits data
from the unit itself
Connect to the MIDI IN of another device
Passes MIDI data received from MIDI IN
Switch off the E-35 and all other MIDI
devices.
There are three MIDI sockets on the
rear panel of the E-35 as follows:
@ MIDI IN socket
Use this socket for feeding MIDI
signals from an external MIDI
device to control the E-35 and make
it operate as a sound source.
* The signal fed into the MIDI IN is
not sent out through MIDI OUT.
@ MIDI OUT socket
Use this socket for sending MIDI
signals from the E-35 to control ex-
ternal MIDI devices.
@ MIDI THRU socket
The exact copy of the signal fed into
the MIDI IN is sent out through this
socket.
Use MIDI cables to connect the various
devices.

An der Riickseite des E-35 befinden
sich drei MIDI-Buchsen. Es sind:

verbinden, verwenden Sie bitte
MIDI-Kabel.

Eteignez votre E-35 ainsi que tous les

Utilisez cette prise pour tranynet-
tre les signaux MIDI depuis leE-35
pour contréler des appareils YFIDI
externes.
@ Prise MIDI THRU
La copie exacte du signal intrpaluit
dans le MIDI IN d’entrée sort: de
cette prise.
Utilisez les cordons MIDI pour }ran-
cher les différents instruments entre
eux.
