By using this function, all MIDI
parameters and internal songs can be
sent via MIDI to be then memorized
into an external device (like sequencers
or similar).
Pressing MIDI SELECT button [60]
the corresponding Led will light and
the display will show the first change-
able MIDI parameter. Select the dis-
play showing MIDI DUMP by pressing
MIDI PART ‘“‘+” and ‘“‘—”’ tabs [54].
By using MIDI DATA “+” and ‘‘—”
tabs [55] select the parameters which
have to be sent.
Confirm the transmission of the data
selected by pressing PLAY tab [57] in
Song Composer section.

MIDI PROGRAM CHANGE
When using an external MIDI device to
control the sound source within the
E-35, a total of 256 tones can be played.
(See tables at pages 24 and 25).
The first 128 tones (GS) are directly
recallable, the other 128 tones (“LA”’
compatible) can be recalled by sending
a MIDI Control Change (00—127)
together with a Program Change Num-
ber. This way, if you wish to recall an
Electric Piano 6 Sound (C 17 06) the
Control change number 00—127 is to
be composed from a Sequencer or from
a Master keyboard and it must be fol-
lowed by PRG 7 (BX 007F, CX 06); the
number 7 (06) represents the Program
Change number of the Electric Piano
6 (see MIDI Implementation Chart).
Tone tables are ordered into Orchestral
Family groups, and not by numeric ord-
er. It means that the tones are grouped
according to the orchestral family they
belong to. The Piano Family, for exam-
ple, comprises the keyboard instrv-
ments similar to the Piano (Piano, Elee
Piano, Harpsichord, Clavi etc.).
As already described, the 128 “GS”
tones are divided into “A” and “B”
Groups, whereas “LA” tones are divid-
ed into “‘C” and “‘D” Groups.

Diese Funktion erméglicht es, tiber MI-

Verwenden Sie ein externes MIDI-
Instrument, um die Tonerzeugung des
E-35 zu steuern, haben Sie Zugriff auf
insgesamt 256 Klange (siehe Seiten 24
und 25).
Die ersten 128 Klange (GS) sind direkt
abrufbar; weitere 128 (‘‘LA’’ kompati-
ble) Klange kénnen Sie durch das ge-
meinsame Senden von MI-
DI-Steuerungswechsel (00-127) und der
Programmwechsel-Nummer abrufen.
Méchten Sie auf diese Weise den Klang
des Electric Piano 6 abrufen (C17 06),
mu die Steuerwechselnummer
00—127 sowie die PRG-Nummer 7 (BX
007F, CX 06) an den E-35 gesendet
werden. Die Nummer ‘‘7 (06)’” repra-
sentiert die Nummer des Programm-
wechsel des Electric Piano 6 (vgl. MI-
DI-Implementationstabelle).
Die Klange sind nicht nach Nummern,
sondern nach Klanggruppen (Orchestra
Families) geordnet. Die Piano-Family
umfa&t beispielsweise alle klavier-
ahnlichen Tasteninstrumente (Klavier,
Electric Piano, Harpsichord, Clavi etc.).
Die 128 “GS”’-Klange sind in ““A”’- und
“B”-Gruppen unterteilt, wahrend sich
die “‘LA”’-Sounds in den Gruppen “C”
und ‘‘D” befinden.

Cette fonction permet d’envoyer via

morceaux incorporés et permet ainsi
ensuite de les mémoriser dans un ap-
pareil externe (séquenceur ou appareils
semblables).
En enfoncant le bouton MIDI SELECT
[60], la LED relative s’allumera et I’af-
ficheur indiquera le premier paramétre
MIDI pouvant étre modifié. En enfon-
cant les boutons MIDI PART ‘“‘+” et
“‘_’” [54], sélectionner |’affichage MI-
DI DUMP. En enfoncant les boutons
MIDI DATA “+” et “—” [55]’ sélec-
tionner les paramétres a transmettre.
Confirmer l’envoi des données sélec-
tionnées 4 travers la pression du bov-
ton PLAY [57] dans la section Song
Composer.

Quand vous utilisez un appareil MIDI
externe pour contréler la source du son
a l’intérieur du E-35, vous pouvezvous
servir de 256 Sons au total (voir pages
24 et 25).
Les premier 128 sons (GS) rappel:bles
directement et les autres 128 sons(LA
compatibles) rappelables en émeitant
un MIDI Control Change (00—127),
avec le numéro de Program Change.
Ainsi, si vous souhaitez rappeler un son
de Piano Electrique 6 (C17 06), ilfau-
dra que vous composiez depuis un Sé-
quenceur ou depuis un Clavier M:itre
le numéro de Control Change 00-127
suivi du PRG 7 (BX 007F, CX 06, oi
7 (06) indiquera le numéro du Prog-am
Change du Piano Electrique 6 (voircar-
te d’implémentation MIDI).
Les tables des sons ne sont pas orjaani-
sées en ordre numérique mais par g-ou-
pes de Familles Orchestrales. Ceci
signifie que les sons sont regroupé sur
la base de l’appartenance 4 la mém fa-
mille orchestrale. Dans la famillePia-
no, par exemple, ont été regroup les
instruments a clavier du type Piand€or-
te, a savoir: Piano, Piano électriy ue,
Harpsichord et Claves, et ainsi de 9 ite.
Comme déja décrit au préalable, les 128
sons “GS’”’ sont subdivisés dans les
Groupes ‘‘A” et “B”’ alors que lejons
“LA” sont subdivisés dans les Growpoes
