Try Playing a Wide Range of Tones
Now you’re ready to try playing each of the 128 different tones! Here’s how you
change the selected tone:
Press the GROUP button to choose the group.

Check the display to find out which group is currently selected.
* To change from one tone to another within the same group, you don’t need to press
the GROUP button.

Add Expressive Power to the Tone
You can add expressiveness to tones by shifting the pitch up or down, or by adding
vibrato.

While playing a tone on the keyboard, you can move the Bender/Modulation lever a
to the left to lower the pitch, or to the right to raise it. By moving the Bender/ |
Modulation lever from side to side in this way, you can shift the pitch of anoteup J
and dowm by one whole tone (two half-steps).

Lowers the pitch za ==: Raises the pitch
Pushing the Bender/Modulation lever toward the top of the instrument while playing
a tone on the keyboard adds a ‘vibrato’ effect.
