9.1 Filling the glass jug
• The appliance must be switched off. For this, press the button for the selected blending level again
and disconnect the power plug.
• Remove the lid from the glass jug.
• Fill the glass jug with food (observe the max. filling quantity!).
• Place the lid with included measuring cup on the glass jug and press it on firmly. The plastic lip must
cover the spout.
9.2 Operating the appliance
• Connect the appliance to the mains.
• Press 1x the “I/II“ button to blend in low speed.
• Press 2x the “I/II“ button to blend in high speed. Pressing the “I/II“ button again will switch the
appliance back to low speed.
• Press the “PULSE“ button to blend in high speed temporarily.
• Press the “OFF“ button to switch off.
The appliance is designed for a max. continuous operation time of 3 minutes under full
loading. If this time has been reached, it will switch off automatically.
9.3 Refilling ingredients
Attention: Risk of injury! Do not touch the running blade –
neither stir in the glass jug with a spoon or other objects!
• Ingredients can be refilled any time via the small filling hole in the lid.
• First switch back to level “I“.
• Remove the small measuring cup.
• Pour the ingredients gradually in (observe the max. filling quantity!). The measuring cup may serve as
a dosing aid.
• Refit and lock the small measuring cup.
• If desired, switch to level “II“.
In case ingredients stick inside the glass jug, switch the appliance off and disconnect the power plug.
Then release the ingredients from the walls of the glass jug by means of a dough scraper!
9.4 Switching off completely
• To do so, press the “OFF“ button.
• For a complete switch off it is necessary to pull the power plug!
10. Cleaning and maintenance
• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning!
• Never immerse base unit, power cord and plug in water or
clean them under running water!
• Attention: Risk of injury! Do not touch the blade! Handle
cutting tools with care to avoid injuries!
