The mill can be filled with cheese
or chocolate by sliding the lid right
up and flicking it open. Close the
lid and slide it downward until it
comes into direct contact with the
cheese or chocolate to be grated.
Grip the mill with your left hand
and place a finger on the lid.
Using your right hand, turn the
crank in a clockwise direction. To
retain all the fine flakes, hold the
aperture of the mill over a bowl
or dish.
Caution: If the food is almost rasped, minimize the pressure on the lid to
prevent contact with the drum inset. If the pressure is too high, the lid could
be ground. Plastic chips would be the results.
