Before starting check the operation to the
chain brake
The chain brake lever (Fig 8-A) should click between
positions (B) and (C). Leave it in position (C) for
starting.
NOTE: The brake lever should snap into both posi-
tions. If strong resistance is felt, or lever does not
move into either position, do not use your saw. Take
it immediately to a professional Service Centre for
repair.
Fill The fuel tank (Fig 9 –A) with 25:1 fuel oil mix
Fill The oil tank (Fig 9—B) with chain oil.
NOTE: Whenever you refill the fuel tank with fuel
you must also top up the level of chain oil in the
chain oil tank.

Push the chain brake lever forward to engage
