General Features and Compliance

The Rosslare RSDP-805 Series comprises expansion boards designed for use with the AC-825IP access control panel. These boards can be mounted directly on top of the AC-825IP or installed on a wall and fitted on a DIN rail, communicating with the AC-825IP via an OSDP/RSDP-Bus (serial bus) using RS-485. When integrated with Rosslare's AxTraxPro™ Access Control Management Software, the expansion boards support SIA Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP V2), including OSDP-SC (secure channel) for enhanced security.

R-805 Series: 16-Output Expansion Board

Function Description: The R-805 is a 16-output expansion board for the AC-825IP access control panel, providing 16 Form-C relays for general purpose and security applications.

Usage Features:

Wiring: Connects to the AC-825IP's OSDP/RSDP-bus via an RS-485 communication terminal block. Supports up to 1,200 m (4,000 ft) cable length with a minimum 22 AWG cable for RS-485 communication. The 16 outputs connect to various applications.
Software Integration: Output types and functions are defined using the "Groups" and "Links" elements within the AxTraxNG/AxTraxPro Access Control Management Software.
Installation Mode: To set up, turn off power, set all four DIP switches to ON, turn on power, wait three seconds, and then set all four DIP switches to OFF within 30 seconds. The Transmit Data (TX) LED blinks red to indicate successful entry into installation mode.

Maintenance Features:

LED Indicators: A Power LED indicates active connection to a power source. 16 Output LEDs activate when an output relay is energized, providing visual feedback on relay status.

Reader terminals support two data lines (D0 and D1 for Wiegand, DATA and CLOCK for Clock & Data), a tamper signal input, and one LED control output.
