  If your Rovatti Pompe Water Pump isn't priming, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the pump body is completely full. Air in the suction pipe can also prevent priming, so inspect gaskets and connections. An excessive suction head could be the culprit; try reducing it. Verify that the rotation speed isn't too low and increase it if necessary. Also, check the diameter of the suction pipe, and replace it if it's insufficient. For pumps driven by an electric motor, incorrect rotation can be an issue, so invert the rotation. Worn-out impellers and wear plates should be replaced. If there's pressure in the delivery pipe, release air through the drainage cock. Finally, increased water temperature in the pump body can hinder priming; fill it with cold water.

Start by checking the suction grid for clogs and wash it to remove any obstructions. If the suction pipe is crushed, reducing its section, replace it. Ensure the rotation speed is adequate; increase it if it's too low. An excessive suction head can also cause this issue, so reduce the suction level. Inspect the impeller for any foreign bodies and remove any clogging, disassembling the pump if necessary. Also, check for air inside the suction pipe by inspecting gaskets and connections. Finally, worn-out impellers and wear plates can lead to reduced performance, so replace them.
