BONNET OPENING
DO NOT drive with the
bonnet retained by the
safety catch alone.
1. From inside the car, pull the bonnet release handle.
2. Lift the bonnet safety catch lever and raise the bonnet.
Closing the bonnet
Lower the bonnet. When the bonnet is approximately 6
inches (150 mm) from its closed position, push down evenly
using the palms of both hands on the leading edge of the
bonnet on either side of the radiator grill.
After closing the bonnet, check that the lock is fully engaged
by attempting to lift the front edge of the bonnet. This should
be free from all movement.
