Why is my Rowenta ESPREMIO ES6200 Coffee Maker espresso flowing too slowly?
    • J
      joshuashortAug 21, 2025
Several factors can cause slow espresso flow. You might have over tightened the filter holder, so try untightening it. The coffee might be too finely ground, oily, or powdery; choose a more coarsely ground coffee. Also, a dirty filter holder can be the culprit; clean it according to the instructions in paragraph 8.B. Finally, a dirty water grill can cause this issue; when the appliance has cooled down, clean the water grill with a damp sponge (fig. 16).

Why is there ground coffee in my Rowenta ESPREMIO ES6200 Coffee Maker cup?
    • R
      Rachel ArnoldAug 23, 2025
If you find ground coffee in your cup, the filter holder might be dirty. Clean it with hot water, press the "EJECT" button to eliminate any remaining coffee, and shake it to get rid of any water (also refer to paragraph 8.B). Another reason could be that the coffee is too finely ground. Use a more coarsely ground coffee, and only use Espresso ground coffee.

What to do if my Rowenta ESPREMIO ES6200 Coffee Maker will not work?
    • A
      Alexander JohnsonAug 26, 2025
If your appliance isn't working, it could be due to a drained pump from lack of water. Fill the water tank and restart the pump (see paragraph 5. "FIRST USE"). Avoid emptying the water tank completely. Another possibility is that the removable water tank is not fitted correctly. Push the water tank firmly to ensure it fits correctly.

How to fix Rowenta ESPREMIO ES6200 espresso leaking from the sides of the filter holder?
    • Z
      ztaylorAug 28, 2025
Espresso leaking from the sides of the filter holder usually means it's not fitted correctly. Fit the filter holder in place and lock it (turn it from left to right as far as possible) (fig. 3). It could also be caused by coffee on the edge of the filter holder; remove the excess coffee (fig. 9).

Why does my Rowenta Coffee Maker water tank leak when moved?
    • C
      Christine ElliottSep 1, 2025
If the water tank leaks when moved, the valve at the bottom of the tank might be dirty or faulty. Wash the water tank and actuate the valve at the bottom of the tank with your finger. Alternatively, the valve could be blocked by scale, so descale the appliance as described in paragraph 9.

Why doesn't the steam nozzle on my Rowenta Coffee Maker froth the milk?
    • A
      amybellSep 4, 2025
If the steam nozzle isn't frothing milk, it could be blocked or scaled. Descale the steam nozzle as described in the paragraph "DESCALING" or unblock it with a needle (fig. 21). Also, the milk might be too warm or not fresh; use very cold, very fresh milk. Finally, the recipient might not be the right shape; use a small jug.

      Jorge BrownSep 6, 2025
If water flows from the filter holder after making espresso, ensure the selection knob is in the "0" position. Switch off the appliance by moving the selection knob D1 to the opposition "0" (fig. 6). Also, premature scale formation due to very hard water can cause this; descale the espresso machine according to the instructions (paragraph 9).

Why is the filter holder blocked on my Rowenta Coffee Maker?
    • B
      Barbara JonesSep 8, 2025
If the filter holder is blocked and the "EJECT" button is stiff, you may have forgotten to release the filter holder. Move the filter holder slightly to the right before pressing the "EJECT" button.
