How the air purier works
The 16 electrodes inside the air purier let out an electron stream that releases negative ions and active
oxygen This technology can quickly eliminate a large number of bacteria and dust mites while neutralising
or reducing gases and smoke smell The air purier doesn’t have a fan, but the ionic breeze still circulates
the air
The static collection plate catches dust, pollen, mould, dust mites, allergens and other airborne particles
You can see this residue on the collection plate after about ten days of use
Airborne particles are also drawn to each other, and when they do so they become heavy and fall down You
can clean up these particles during the cleaning process
•
Tip: Use a HEPA lter with your vacuum cleaner to keep the particles inside the bag
Smell
The air purier produces small amounts of ozone Ozone has a very characteristic metallic smell that is
reminiscent of chlorine (like the smell after thunder or the smell from laser printers or photocopiers) You
can smell the ozone long before it reaches the 01 ppm safety limit
The air purier never emits more than 005 ppm Despite these levels being below the safety limit, you
should never stay within 50 cm from the air purier for longer periods of time
If the smell of ozone causes you discomfort, please stay at least 50 cm from the air purier Place the ioniser
in a place with good air circulation, so that the smell doesn’t disturb you
Please note:
•
Don’t place the air purier near ammable gases or explosive materials
•
Don’t disassemble the air purier or try to repair it yourself Electrostatic Dis-
charges (ESD) and incorrect use can damage the components
•
Don’t insert any metal objects into the air purier, as there is a risk of an electric shock
