      If your Ruby Heater gives off fumes or odors, try the following: 1. If the flame is too high, lower the wick using the wick adjustment knob to reduce the flame height. 2. If there's a strong air inlet into the stove, remove the stove from the draft. 3. If the burner isn't horizontal, use the burner spring to adjust it back and forth until it's correctly placed on the wick. 4. If soot or tar appears on the wick, or if the fuel is contaminated, contact your retailer to have the wick maintained or replaced, and ensure you fill the tank with suitable fuel.

If there is water in the fuel, drain the tank, contact your retailer to change the wick, and then fill the tank with suitable fuel. 3. If the ignition button is not working, replace the batteries, replace the igniter, and check for broken or disconnected wires.
