POWER BUTTON
After plugging in the appliance and closing the lid, touch the power button once to start the
composting function.
To pause the composting function, press the button again.
AUTOMATIC CLEANING BUTTON
To clean the unit, fill the pot halfway with clean water, plug the appliance in and press the
automatic cleaning button once to start the cleaning function.
This process takes about 1 hour and should only be done when all the food waste or compost
has been emptied out.
To use this function, the unit must be unplugged and plugged back in to reset, you may then
select this feature.
Once the cleaning cycle is complete, the water must be emptied out and the pot dried
thoroughly before being placed back into the unit.
AUTOMATIC LID BUTTON
After plugging in the unit, close the upper cover/lid manually, press automatic lid button once
to open the lid and again to close it.
To open the lid during operation, the power button must be pressed to pause the function, the
lid can then be opened to either add food waste or to check on the progress.
The lid will close automatically after 10 seconds, and the composting function will commence
after an additional 5 seconds. (15 Seconds in total).
NB: Food waste can only be added within the first 30 minutes of the composting function
being started.
The unit has a smart pause function in the event of a power failure, the unit will go into
standby mode and automatically continue its cycle when power is restored. The unit
will only function if the lid is closed.
