This cordless vacuum offers the convenience of a handheld unit combined with the functionality of a stick vacuum, making it suitable for various cleaning tasks around the home.
The Sabre Cordless Handheld Stick Vacuum is primarily designed for dry vacuuming. It operates on battery power, providing freedom from power cords and allowing for easy movement throughout the house. The core of the device is the handheld unit, which houses the motor, dust bin, and battery. This unit can be used independently for quick clean-ups or combined with an extension tube and a powered floorhead to transform into a stick vacuum for larger areas and floor cleaning. The vacuum features a power switch to start operation and an Eco mode for energy-efficient cleaning. It is equipped with a detachable dust bin and a filter system to capture dust and debris effectively. It is recommended to empty the dust container outdoors to avoid creating a dust cloud. After emptying, ensure the bottom of the dust container is correctly closed.
Cleaning the Filter: The filter requires regular cleaning to maintain suction power. First, turn off and unplug the cleaner. Empty the dust container, then remove it by twisting anti-clockwise. Using the filter handle, gently remove the filter from the container. Twist the filter housing away from the filter. To clean the filter, remove excess dust using a soft brush and wash it in warm water. Allow the filter to air dry for 24 hours before reassembling. Incorrectly replacing the filters and container can lead to decreased performance. Filters may need replacing after approximately 6 months of regular use.
Cleaning the Floorhead: The floorhead should be cleaned periodically to remove tangled hair or debris that can impede its function. Remove the floorhead from the unit. Push and pull the lock on the brush cover to remove the brush bar. Clear any tangled hair or debris from the brush bar and check for blockages in the brush head. Replace the brush bar, ensuring it is correctly positioned and clicks into place.
General Cleaning: Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is switched off and not on the charging stand. The exterior of the device can be cleaned with a damp, soft cloth and mild detergent. Non-electrical removable accessories can be washed in warm soapy water and allowed to dry thoroughly before next use. It is crucial to never immerse the vacuum in water.
