REPLACING THE CHAIN BAR
1. Turn off the product. Using the combination
wrench, remove the bar nut from the drive
case cover.
2. Remove the bar nut, drive case cover, and
chain bar.
3. Prepare the chain bar. Make sure that the
chain follows the correct direction as shown.
4. Place the new chain bar into the bar stud so
that the chain tensioning pin ts into the chain
tensioning pin hole. Fit the chain over the
sprocket and into the bar groove. The cutters
on the top of the bar should face toward the
bar tip, in the direction of the chain rotation.
