Another potential cause is an inoperative ignition. Ensure all switches are properly engaged by positioning the guards correctly on the blowing and vacuuming opening sides, and inserting the sliders into the switch slots the right way. Also, the engine may be flooded. To resolve this, remove the spark plug, turn the unit so the spark plug hole faces the ground, set the choke lever to the 'RUN' position, and pull the starter grip three times to clear excessive fuel.
