What to do if my Ryobi RLT36 Trimmer motor fails to start?
- JjensenjasonJul 31, 2025
If your Ryobi Trimmer motor doesn't start when you press the switch trigger, there are a few things to check: * First, ensure the battery pack is securely attached. Listen for the latch on the bottom of the battery pack to snap into place. * Second, confirm that the battery is charged. If not, charge it following the instructions for your model. * Finally, check that the shaft is correctly connected. The lower curved shaft should be fully seated and secured in the shaft coupling on the upper shaft.
