5. Clean the mufer with a small wire brush.
6. Loosen the screws securing the spark
arrestor, and then detach it from the mufer.
7. Clean the spark arrestor with a small wire
brush.
8. After cleaning, install the spark arrestor back
to the mufer. Attach the stamping plate and
outlet tube to the mufer cover and then
tighten the three recess screws.
