Overview

This document describes the RY18CB23A Hybrid Cooler, a portable cooling device designed for leisure activities such as camping. It prioritizes safety, performance, and dependability in its design.

Function Description

The RY18CB23A Hybrid Cooler is primarily intended to keep products refrigerated. It supports both dry and wet storage for food and beverages. The cooler can be powered by multiple sources, including a removable battery pack (specifically RYOBI ONE+ 18V battery packs) or an external power supply (240 V AC adaptor or 12/24 V adaptor).

The control panel features several functions:

  • Temperature Control Buttons: Adjusts the cooling temperature and switches between Celsius and Fahrenheit units.
  • Temperature Display: Shows the current temperature inside the cooler compartment. Pressing the temperature control buttons displays the set temperature.
  • Cooling Mode Button: Toggles between fast cooling (MAX) and energy-saving cooling (ECO) modes.
  • Battery Protection Mode: Protects the installed battery pack from overvoltage. It has three settings: H (high) for car power, and M (medium) or L (low) for portable or back-up power sources (not for RYOBI ONE+ 18V battery packs).
  • Reset Button: Resets the product to its factory settings.
  • Power Button: Turns the product on or off. The product should always be turned off before moving.
  • Battery Fuel Gauge: Displays the remaining capacity of each installed RYOBI ONE+ 18V battery pack.

The cooler also includes a pull handle, drain plug, battery door, battery door handle, bottle opener, 12/24 V adaptor input, wheels, cooler door handle, and cooler door.
