How to fix Ryobi Lawn and Garden Equipment when the engine will not start?
- MmonicahicksJul 26, 2025
If your Ryobi Lawn and Garden Equipment engine won't start, it could be due to several reasons: no spark, no fuel, or a flooded engine. First, try cleaning or replacing the spark plug and resetting the spark plug gap. Then, push the primer bulb until it's full of fuel. If it doesn't fill, the primary fuel delivery system might be blocked, and you should contact a service dealer. If the primer bulb fills, the engine may be flooded; set the choke lever to the START position, squeeze the trigger, and repeatedly pull the rope until the engine starts and runs. Note that severe flooding might require numerous pulls.
