Why Ryobi Trimmer engine will not start?
- CChad DavisJul 31, 2025
If the Ryobi Trimmer engine won't start, there might be several reasons: * **No spark:** Try cleaning or replacing the spark plug and resetting the spark plug gap. * **No fuel:** Push the primer bulb until it's full of fuel. If it doesn't fill, the primary fuel delivery system might be blocked, and you should contact a service dealer. * **Engine is flooded:** Set the start lever to the START position, squeeze the trigger, and repeatedly pull the rope until the engine starts and runs. Keep in mind that depending on how flooded the engine is, you may need to pull the rope many times.
