The primary function of the Ryobi TUFF SUCKER™ is to provide convenient and efficient clean-up for both dry debris and liquid spills. All pieces (filter, filter rack, and dust bowl) can be washed if necessary, but must be completely dry before reattaching to the hand vac.
Filter Replacement: To replace the filter, align its slots with the tabs on the filter rack, ensuring the arrow on the filter points up, then twist to lock it in place. The assembled filter rack and filter are then placed back into the dust bowl.
Reattaching Dust Bowl: Position the dust bowl and motor housing sections, aligning the slots on the bottom of the dust bowl with the tabs on the bottom of the motor housing, then snap the two sections together.
Battery Care:
- Store and charge batteries in a location where the temperature is between 50°F and 100°F.
- Never store batteries in a discharged condition; recharge them immediately after use.
- For long-term storage, recharge the battery pack every month or two to prolong battery life, as batteries gradually lose their charge, especially at higher temperatures.
- If the battery pack becomes hot from continuous use, allow it to cool down for approximately 30 minutes before recharging.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or replace the nickel-cadmium batteries within the battery pack.
