If your mulched grass appears clumpy, has excessive clippings, or looks coarsely cut, several factors could be at play. The cutting blade might be blunt, in which case you should have it sharpened and balanced by an authorised workshop. Ensure you're following mulching guidelines by cutting a maximum of 1/3 of the grass height, especially if the grass height to be cut is less than 10 cm; you may need to set a higher cutting height. Adjust your driving speed, or switch the motor drive off if necessary. Also, check for grass accumulation under the mower blade and set a higher cutting height. Ensure sufficient overlap between mowing lanes, especially if the grass is long. Finally, if the grass is damp, set a higher cutting height and allow the lawn to dry.
