OPERATION PROCESS
1. Put up the handpiece and turn on the control box.
(When the power is turned on, the beep sound is ring and the RPM is displayed on the indicator.)
2. Select the operation method by pressing the Hand/Foot Select Button. When the left light is on, hand is selected,
when the right light is on, foot is selected
.
3. Select the rotation direction by pressing the Rotation Direction Select Button.
When the left light is on, the forward direction is selected, when the right light is on, the reverse direction is selected.

4. Push the motor button.
5. Control the desired speed by turning the speed control
dial.
6. Handpiece is stopped by re-pressing the motor button

5. Operate the handpiece by controlling the foot controller.
(Handpiece is worked within setting range.)
6. Foot controller is released, handpiece is stopped.
- The first characters shown on the indicator when the power is turned on are software versions.
■ Maximum Speed Change Function (FORTE 300α, FORTE 300αD Only)
It is function to change the maximum speed from 40,000 rpm to 50,000 rpm.
After setting the speed control dial at ‘0’, Press the Hand/Foot Select Button and Motor Button. Maximum speed is enlarged to
50,000 rpm. Re-press the two buttons, Maximum speed is returned.
■ Overload Protective Function
If handpiece is overloaded, after about 5 seconds, beep sound is ring and the error cord ‘E1’ is displayed at the indicator and
handpiece is stopped. Hand/Foot Select Button is selected as the hand, this function can be disabled by pressing the motor button.
Re-press the motor button, handpiece can be used.
Hand/Foot Select Button is selected as the foot, this function can be disabled by releasing the foot controller.

troller, handpiece can be used.
