Changing mounting medium
When changing the type of mounting medium, the
current mounting medium must be flushed out from
the discharging channel before introducing the new
medium.
1. Place the waste bottle below the dispending
nozzle.
2. Fill the priming bottle with solvent for
mounting medium.
3. Connect the tip of the introduction tube with
the priming bottle.
4. Squeeze the priming bottle to pour the solvent
for the mounting medium trough the tube.
5. Remove the priming bottle from the
introduction tube.
6. Set a bottle with solvent for mounting medium
to clean the tube.
7. Perform an [initial priming] page 3.3 .
8. Press [menu].
9. Highlight [extended prime].
10. press [enter].
11. Empty anti-drying bottle and refill with solvent
for “new” mounting medium.
12. Empty “pump anti-drying bottle” and refill with
new solvent for mounting medium.
13. Set the mounting medium bottle.
14. Tilt the mounting medium tube toward the
front and lift the tube.
15. In order to prevent air bubbles, insert the tube
gently into the bottle.
16. Perform an [initial priming] page 3.3 OM.
17. Press [menu].
18. Highlight [extended prime] .
19. Press [enter].
Preparation before coverslipping
Hardware
Placing mounting medium
1. Set the mounting medium bottle.
2. Tilt the mounting medium tube toward the
front and lift the tube.
3. In order to prevent air bubbles, insert the tube
gently into the bottle.
Installing the dispensing tray
1. Set the dispensing tray in the system by
aligning the tray with the two guide rails (only
for the first time use).
