If your Salter Blood Pressure Monitor displays an error message, it could be due to several reasons. The cuff might be too tight or too loose; in this case, readjust the cuff so it fits properly and try measuring again. The monitor may have detected motion, talking, or a weak pulse during measurement; relax for a moment before remeasuring. If the monitor isn't detecting a pulse signal, loosen any clothing on your arm and try again. The measurement process might have failed, so simply relax and remeasure. Finally, a calibration error may have occurred; retake the measurement, and if the problem continues, contact the retailer or customer service for assistance, referring to the warranty for contact information and return instructions.
