Function Description:

The PT-1730 Bike is an exercise bike that allows users to perform various workout programs, track their progress, and monitor vital statistics such as heart rate. It features a console that displays workout parameters like RPM (revolutions per minute), SPEED, ODO (odometer), DIST (distance), WATT, and Calories. The bike offers adjustable resistance levels to cater to different fitness levels and workout intensities. It also includes a body fat program and heart rate control programs for more specialized training.

Important Technical Specifications:

  • Maximum User Weight: The equipment should not be used by persons weighing over 130 kg.
  • Resistance Levels: All program profiles have 16 levels of resistance.
  • Workout Parameters:
    • Time: Setting range 0:00~99:00, default 00:00, increment/decrement ±1:00. Counts up from 0:00 or down from 1:00~99:00.
    • Distance: Setting range 0.00~999.0, default 0.00, increment/decrement ±1.0. Counts up from 0.0 or down from 1.0~999.0.
    • Calories: Setting range 0~9950, default 0, increment/decrement ±50. Counts up from 0 or down from 50~9950.
    • Age: Setting range 10~99, default 30, increment/decrement ±1. Used to calculate Target HR.
  • Heart Rate Zones (Fitness Level):
    • Excellent: F1 (Above 50)
    • Good: F2 (40~49)
    • Average: F3 (30~39)
    • Fair: F4 (20~29)
    • Poor: F5 (10~19)
    • Very Poor: F6 (Under 10)
  • Heart Rate Control Programs:
    • P10: 60% Target H.R. = 60% of (220-AGE)
    • P11: 75% Target H.R. = 75% of (220-AGE)
    • P12: 85% Target H.R. = 85% of (220-AGE)
  • Tools for Assembly: Allen Wrench S6 (1 PC) and Multi Hex Tool with Phillips Screwdriver S10, S13, S14, S15 (1 PC).

Usage Features:

  • Safety First: Users must read all warnings, follow the owner's manual, and ensure proper assembly. Children and pets should be kept away. The equipment should be placed on a solid, level surface in a dry area. Regular inspection for worn or loose components is crucial. Loose clothing and bare feet/socks are not recommended; proper footwear is required. Users must maintain balance during use, mounting, dismounting, and assembly. Both feet should remain firmly on the pedals.
  • Console Functions:
    • START/STOP: Initiates/pauses workouts, starts/quits body fat measurement, and resets all function values (hold for 3 seconds in stop mode).
    • DOWN: Decreases selected workout parameter values (TIME, DISTANCE, etc.) and resistance load during a workout.
    • UP: Increases selected workout parameter values and resistance load during a workout.
    • ENTER: Inputs desired values or workout mode.
    • TEST (RECOVERY): Activates the Recovery function after a workout. Requires hand pulse sensor input for 1 minute to display fitness level (F1-F6).
    • MODE: Switches display between RPM, SPEED, ODO, DIST, WATT, and Calories.
  • Workout Selection: Users can select desired programs (Manual, Pre-Programs, Body Fat Program, Target Heart Rate Program, Heart Rate Control Programs, User Program) using UP/DOWN keys and confirm with ENTER.
  • Setting Workout Parameters: After selecting a program, users can pre-set parameters like TIME, DISTANCE, CALORIES, and AGE using UP/DOWN keys and ENTER to save values.
  • Program Operation:
    • Manual (P1): Allows manual adjustment of time and other parameters. The workout stops automatically with bi-sounds if a parameter counts down to zero.
    • Pre-Programs (P2-P7): Six pre-set program profiles with 16 resistance levels. Users can adjust time and other parameters.
    • BODY FAT program (P8): Measures Body Fat%, BMR (Basal Metabolism Ratio), BMI (Body Mass Index), and BODY TYPE. Requires input of Gender, Height, Weight, and Age, along with grasping hand pulse grips for 15 seconds. Body types are categorized based on FAT%.
    • TARGET HEART RATE Program (P9): Allows setting a target heart rate. The computer automatically adjusts resistance load every 20 seconds if the pulse is outside the ±5 target H.R. range.
    • HEART RATE CONTROL Program (P10-P12): Offers three target pulse selections based on a percentage of (220-AGE). Similar to P9, resistance is automatically adjusted.
    • User Program (P13): Allows users to create and save their own custom program by setting resistance levels for 10 individual segments.
  • Health Advisory: Before starting any exercise program, consult a physician. Stop exercising and seek medical advice if feeling faint, dizzy, or experiencing pain. Follow physician's recommendations for fitness program development, choose appropriate workout intensity, and train within personal limits.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: Dry and clean areas exposed to perspiration to prevent sweat from damaging the equipment. Use towels during workouts.
  • Dust and Dirt: Keep the equipment casing and internal elements clean to prevent functioning problems in gears and bearings caused by dust and dirt.
  • Regular Inspection: Inspect the equipment for worn or loose components prior to each use. Replace or repair any loose or worn components immediately, or keep the equipment out of service until repaired.
  • Environmental Note: The product is marked with a "waste bin with wheels" symbol, indicating it should not be disposed of with domestic waste.
