What to do if I see 'Current at max/Control variable at max' on my SALUDA MEDICAL Medical Equipment?
    • J
      Jonathan CrawfordSep 16, 2025
If 'Current at max/Control variable at max' is displayed: * The maximum current limit may be too low. If the patient does not report any surges in stimulation and only cutting out, increase the maximum current limit. * There may be high artefact. Check the patient sensitivity curve; if it is not the correct shape, try changing recording or reference electrodes. Increase pulse width to reduce current requirement. * There may be an electrode disconnection. Check the impedances. * Stimulation is on in closed loop mode, and the charge coil is close to the stimulator whilst charging has been started via the Battery Charger start button. Turn off the Charger and see if the problem persists.
