Durch betätigen des Protrusionsriegels führt ein Stift
(Pfeil) den Schaft der Kondylarkugel nach vorne in
Protrusion.
Bei einem gleichmäßigen Vorschub der Kondylarkugel
erfolgt ein symmetrisches Gleiten auf der
Okklusionsfläche.
By pressing the protrusion swing bolt
a pin (Arrow) guides the shaft of the
condylar balls forward in protrusion.
When the condylar ball is fed
uniformly, symmetrical sliding occurs
on the occlusal surface.
Setting of Protrusion/Retrusion
Um bestimmte Positionen beim Vor- und Seitschub im Artikulator komfortabel einzustellen, ist beim SAM 2PX eine
Protrusions einstellung im Kondylargehäuse integriert. Der Bennettwinkel muss auf 0° eingestellt werden, da die Prot-
rusionsbewegung einer geraden Bewegung nach vorne entspricht.
The SAM 2PX has a protrusion setting integrated into the condylar housing in order to comfortably adjust certain
positions during protrusion and mediotrusion movrement in the articulator. Set the Bennet angle to 0 °, since the
protrusion movement corresponds to a straight forward movement.
Für eine Protrusions- bzw. Retrusionsbewegung müssen
die geraden Bennetteinsätze aus Metall verwendet
werden, und die Zentrikverriegelung muss geöffnet
sein.
For a protrusion or retrusion movement the Straight
Metal Bennett Inserts must be used and the Centric
Locking must be open.

Eine Prostrusion kann an einer Skala (Pfeil) bis zu 5,5 mm
eingestellt werden.
Der gewünschte Wert auf der Skala (hier zum Beispiel
2 mm) kann stufenlos eingestellt und mittels Schraube
arretiert werden.
Protrusion can be adjusted on a scale
(arrow) up to 5.5 mm.
The desired value on the scale (for example here 2 mm)
can be set continuously and can be locked by screw.
