How to prime Sam SP?

  To prime your Sam Water Pump, ensure the pump casing is filled with the liquid you intend to pump. Also, check and tighten any loose suction inlet and/or suction check valve cover plate bolts. If priming issues persist, consider replacing worn suction inlet and/or cover plate gaskets with new ones. Additionally, tighten the suction chamber drain plug, using pipe dope or Teflon tape to ensure a proper seal. If the pump shaft seal assembly is worn, install a new seal. Ensure the clean-out cover is tightened and the gasket is in good condition, replacing it if necessary, and tighten the hand knobs. Finally, check and clean the air release line if it's clogged.

If the unit is operating at an extreme end of the performance curve, adjust it for the best performance point.
